A former Hg occurrence/mine located in the SW¼NE¼ sec. 12, T15S, R9E, MDM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) NNW of Llanada. Discovered in 1940. Owned by Chester Ross. Produced during the periods 1940 to 1944 & 1954. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in sandstone of the Franciscan Formation (Upper Cretaceous). The ore body strikes NW and dips 45 vertical NE (?). Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).

Local structures include shears in the Franciscan rocks.

Workings include unspecified underground openings with a length of 457.2 meters and an overall depth of 39.62 meters (the topo map reflects 1 adit symbol and 2 prospect pit symbols labeled as this mine at this point).

Production statistics: Year: 1962 (period = to 1962), Hg (estimate): ^10 pounds/ton (4,518 grams/metric ton).
