A former Pb-Ag-Zn occurrence/prospect/mine located in sec. 18, T17N, R10E, SBM, 5.5 km (3.4 miles) SSE of Kingston Spring (coordinates of record). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granitic gneiss. Several Pb- and Ag-bearing veins occur in highly brecciated granite gneiss and quartzite (Archean). Local rocks include Tertiary nonmarine rocks, undivided.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 short adits 50 feet apart vertically, small stopes and a shallow winze.
No production was reported. A small tonnage of high-grade ore was mined.
