A Au-U-Ag occurrence located in sec. 33, T1N, R15E, SBM, in the southern end of the Calumet Mountains near the western margin of the southern Cadiz Valley, on federal wilderness land (Sheephole Valley Wilderness). Owned and operated by E.H. Chisholm (100%), Mayer, Arizona (1982). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
This property was examined in conjunction with the mineral appraisal of the Sheep Hole/Cadiz Wilderness Study Area (Bureau of Land Management) in 1980-1981. Backup information can be found in the WFOC mineral property files.
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
