Comments: | A single specimen found in a vein with a significant amount of thaumasite. Noted as worthy of study by Terry Collett and analyzed by Don Doell. White hexagonal prismatic crystals, associated with light green apophyllite, light yellowish-grey stellerite, and light pinkish rhombohedral chabazite. Raman, performed at RRUFF, did not match any species in database but was similar to thaumasite. Confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and chemical analysis (microprobe) at RRUFF. | |
