A Au occurrence/prospect located in the SWΒΌ sec. 16, T15S, R21E, SBM, 1.9 km (1.2 miles
6,400 feet) ESE of Obregon (4.4 miles N63E of Ogilby). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in gneiss. The ore body strikes N10W and dips 45NE. The deposit consists of a 2 to 3 foot wide breccia zone that contains irregular masses of quartz 1 to 2 feet wide. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges). Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 30 foot drift adit and several small cuts and pits.
