Comments:Pyrite is found in Cretaceous marl. Almost perfect cubes with shiny faces of 4 cm in side are common. Have been collected cubes up to 20 cm.
Habit:Mostly cubic
Colour:Metallic yellow
Quality for species:Excellent - world class for species or very significant. (!!)
Abundance at site:Very common
