Comments: | Three specimens of levyne exist in the collection of the National Museum of Victoria. In 2 pieces "the levyne occurs as isolated white, roughly hexagonal crystals, up to 3.5 mm across, in cavities in the basalt. In the other specimen there are abundant cavities lined with colourless chabazite crystals, but only one cavity carries levyne crystals. These form a network of thin (0.2mm), colourless plates, up to 3 mm across and with a hexagonal outline. Chabazite and levyne do not coexist in any cavity." |
