The Joshua Tree Sportsmans Club is holding its 34th annual Gem and mineral show. We will be having over 50 vendors, and it goes on for 5 days from Sept 30, 2009 to Oct 4, 2009 From 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Not to single out Chad, because an awful lot of folk on this messageboard are guilty of the same insufficiency, but please...


When adding info on a mineral event, please mention (best in the Subject line), which state the event is in, so people in far away states and nations don't waste their time (unless they are interested, of course). I happen to know that the Joshua Tree Sportsmans Club (nice friendly folk, by the way) is in southern California, close to Joshua Tree National Park (also worth a visit, if you need another reason to come), but readers in other states, not to mention countries outside the USA, have probably never heard of it!

The show in Joshua Tree, CA U.S.A. starts tomorrow and I am all loaded and ready to go. The show goes thru Sunday. Hopefully some of you will attend. I'm in space 27.
