PhotosPeretaite - Pereta Mine, Pereta, Scansano, Grosseto Province, Tuscany, Italy

17th Aug 2011 17:26 UTCLefteris Rantos Expert

Hi,

Based on the morphology of the xls and especially the terminations, I suspect this is Klebelsbergite rather than Peretaite. Peretaite might be associated, but out of the field of view.

Lefteris.

I agree with Lefteris; terminations and striations make Klebelsbergite the best choice.

Thanks for correcting the identity!

This was my mistake.

I just checked the specimen with high magnification. I did not find any Peretaite.

Scrivo in Italiano ma solo per pareggiare con i vostri messaggi,

di quale peretaite o klebelsbergite state trattando è possibile che la vedano anche gli altri?

Best regards
