The location for this mine as displayed is off by a quarter mile or more. The actual location of the main adit is N48 59.2311, and W118 14.2933 in degrees and decimal minutes. The trail getting there is very rough but only a little over 2 miles depending on the route. The view is spectacular from the adit over the remains of the old tramway into Laurier, 1700 feet below and into Canada. The border crossing is in view. A small aluminum-roofed shed is visible in the aerial.

Thanks Joseph. For some reason only whole numbers of degrees, minutes and seconds can be added??? So I put your coordinates in the locality description.

Please upload you photos to mindat so we can have them with the locality.

Rob. I am unclear on how to upload photos to the locality vs. this discussion.

First I think you need to register. (Click "Register" button at top of page) Once registered go to the locality page and click on "add a photo" in the drop down menu under "photo" at the top of the locality page, Thanks so much.
