I uploaded this photo the first time and got a message “to many connections” I tried again and it went through. When I looked at my gallery two identical photos appeared. Please delete photo 1137789 it was replaced by photo 1137791.

Hi Tony,
Kyle’s article inspired me to look into the Como Mining District and I ran into this photo. I was surprised to see that Mindat has a location page for the district. There are thirteen mines listed in the district but none of them have photos or descriptions or accurate coordinates. I was able to find coordinates for Como, the old ghost town, and I will try to link Kyle’s article to the district page.

I don’t have any photos for this area. All of the mines are shown as one icon just west of Yerington. When you click on it, it explodes into thirteen different icons and it is too far south. Looks like more work is needed here.
