 Rhodonite crystal, Broken Hill.

A very fine rhodonite crystal from Broken Hill, NSW.  This piece was originally purchased from Broken Hill miner, Bernie Williams. A big, complete, (bar one small ding visible on from top right vivid red crystal in pristine condition. Translucent with gemmy areas, the single crystal  has the classic association of  some bright silvery galena.  A classic from this locale, the best of Broken Hill rhodonite are unrivaled anywhere in the world. This pierce is way way above average for the site, with excellent and  aesthetic nature.  Very difficult to find this quality, today, particularly with this size and great form and luster!! Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars.

BROKEN HILL, N.S.W.

A  top specimen ruby crystal from Luc Yen, Vietnam. This is a stunning stand alone single crystal, double terminated. This is about as good as it gets from this Vietnamese location. Featuring wonderful glassy luster, great ruby crystal shape, this crystal just speaks quality. The size is outstanding!! We acquired this on our last  trip to Vietnam 20 months ago, this was the only crystal of this size we saw, among hundreds viewed. Obviously we had to pay a high price for this piece even at the mine. It has very sharp faces, and deep, pinkish-red color. It is translucent. A wonderful crystal, weighing an impressive 80cts plus!!! This is a floater crystal with a small amount of mica associated, the seller suggested it was clinohumite associated ,but Im not really sure this is correct. Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars. Please compare our prices.

LUC YEN, YEN BEI, VIETNAM.

36 x 18 x 14MM.

Chalcedony, Mt Warning, Nightcap National Park, Nth NSW

A chalcedony specimen from Tweed River, NSW. This piece features two different generations of chalcedony, the first is a translucent light yellow color, with the second being a non translucent white to ivory grey color. While this is not untypical of Tweed Valley material, it is a style that is rarely seen, particularly in this large size, with such big botryoids.  This is accompanied by and old had written label. Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars.

TWEED RIVER, NTH NSW.
