Synonym:
A synonym of Rinkite-(Ce)
The name was introduced by Brøgger (1890) as a possible new species related to mosandrite and rinkite with a chemistry similar to rinkite. It is now considered a variety of rinkite (Bellezza et al., 2009). It was first found on Skutesundskjær, Langesundsfjorden, Norway (Cfr Larsen & Erambert 2010)., one of the skerries near Barkevik. The original locality was erronously given as the neighbour Barkevikskjær (Barkevik skerry) in Bellezza et al., (2009).
