Etymol: 'sal't + con'crete.'
Consisting of surficial sand and gravel cemented into a hard mass by salt (halite). A halite cemented duricrust.
A white to light grey surface crust of marine beach sand cemented by
sodium chloride, and lesser amounts of other marine salts, concentrated by evaporation of swash or spray blown onshore by breaking waves.
