Hacienda de Tapacari, 10 km from Huari, 120 km S of Oruro | Fischer C. J. (1969) | Kirusillas | Final horizon of the Kirusilla Formation (to 5 m below contact with the formation Pampa). Given as upper Ludlow by Grahn 2002. However, Maletz et al. (2002) show that this was based on graptolites misidentified as Saetograptus leintwardinensis subsequently recognized as a new species, Monograptus bolivianus. Instead, the formation includes Homerian graptolites. | "shale" | 430.5 - 427.4 Ma Silurian |
