Matrix is quartz and schist.

Bornite crystals on quartz, partially overgrown by secondary Cu-minerals.
The other bornite on this specimen is mostly massive ore together with chalcopyrite in quartz and schist.
Visual ID based on typical bronze-color strongly differing from that of the associated chalcopyrite.
