Colville Queen Mine
A lead-silver mine on the south side of Comstock Mountain. The ore occurred as stringers and breccias in dolomite. Development consisted of adits with a 2600', 240' and 860' of workings, and some shafts. It produced 35 tons of ore from 1902 to 1956 containing 1500 oz Ag, 19 lbs Cu, and 12,000 lbs Pb.
Note: Huntting (1956) reports 400 tons of limonite bearing ore being shipped from the mine, but Mills (1977) does not mention this iron-bearing zone
