Borgarbyggð (Icelandic pronunciation: ​[ˈpɔrkarˌpɪɣθ]) is a municipality in the west of Iceland.

The biggest township in the municipality is Borgarnes. Other densely populated areas in the municipality include Bifröst, Hvanneyri, Kleppjárnsreykir [ˈkʰlɛhpˌjaur̥sˌreiːcɪr̥], Reykholt and Varmaland.
