An undisclosed locality (perhaps in the Itremo area ?). In 1990, a find of large quartz crystals to 25 cm in length (with an average size of 4-6 cm) with inclusions of dark green acicular amphiboles were reported from an undisclosed locality "near Fianarantsoa" (Robinson 1994).
