Small pegmatite dykes in orthogneisses of Orselina-Moncucco-Isorno zone (Upper Penninic).

At Campaccio some gneiss quarries, named Campaccio, Piodale, Servez, and Scarepi, produce a dimension stone commercially known as β€œBeola Grigia”.

At Campaccio, in 1972, some yellow-green tabular crystals of chrysoberyl, in association with muscovite and gahnite, were found in a small pegmatite dyke (Mattioli, 1976; Mattioli, 1979; Piccoli et al., 2007; Boscardin et al., 2013). In the first record about this find (Mattioli, 1976) the generic denomination "Croppo" has been used to indicate the locality. From the Campaccio area occasional finds of axinite-(Fe) and torbernite are also known (Piccoli et al., 2007).
