The sources do not locate the gold mine. The first information found was August 1899, when J.W. Moore successfully applied for forfeiture of the lease, indicating it was active previously. Further, in October 1899, it is stated the lease had been taken up again by the original holders. They had sold the lease around 1896 to a Queensland syndicate, who then did little with it.
At some un-specified date in its early years, probably early 1890's, Sir George Brookman held a major interest in the mine. He was the discoverer of the Great Boulder on the Golden Mile, making him a millionaire. (See Great Boulder and also Brookman Brothers Gold Mine Mindat entry for the Golden Mile Kalgoorlie).
In 1908, Fletcher and Devereaux control the lease.
Incorrect Mindat co-ordinates listed reverted to the Gindalbie battery site, until the mine's location is confirmed.
