A former Cu-W-Bi-Pb-Ag occurrence/mine located in secs. 28 & 29, T2N, R3E, SBM, in the Morongo Valley, about 12.8 km WNW of Rimrock and 2.3 km (1.4 miles) E of Tip Top Mountain (coordinates of record)(Baldwin Lake District), and about 10Β½ miles E of Big Bear City (7 air miles SE of Baldwin Lake). Produced during the periods 1916 & 1952. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in limestone and granodiorite. The ore body strikes NE and dips NW at a width of 2.44 meters. Limestone beds are 10 feet thick. Mineralization occurs on the intersection of N-trending fractures that cut across E-trending limestone beds which dip S. The scheelite generally occurs in quartz. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of an adit driven S40W for 200 feet with a drift on the contact 50 feet between granodiorite and limestone. There are some surface trenches. The ore bodies were mined from overhand stopes.

Production data are found in: Partridge, John F., Jr. (1941).

Production information: 1916: No production figures available. Ore was reported to carry 2% WO3.
