Structure: Crater Range

Alteration: Silicification

Deposit: Vein, fault zone small bodies of lignitic shale & dark slaty sandstone occur locally interbedded in old rhyolites. Part of west vein system. Small amount of sulphide ore present. Starlight property includes the starlights sunset, and mahogany claims. Adjoins the legitimate property on these and the flaxie on the NE. Discovered in 1915 by william holland and charles and william martin. Vein does not crop out. May be the northwest continuation of flaxie vein tilted to the south by a fault. Legitimate vein may be the eastward continuation of the starlight vein. ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Deposit type: Epithermal vein, Comstock

Geology: Leverrierite found in fault gouge. Ore occurs in or associated with starlight vein. Vein extends horizontally 1400 feet and vertically 700 feet.
