Alteration: Tactite-Silication
Deposit: The epidote claim is a contact metamorphic deposit with scheelite disseminated erratically in extensive masses of tactite composed of garnet, epidote, and quartz. The tactite lies on the contact between the limestone and intrusive contact. In 1942-43 12 tons of tungsten ore (sorted) was shipped, that averaged about 2.3% wo3. ; info.src : 1 pub lit contact-metamorphic deposit with scheelite erratically disseminated in extensive masses of tactite on the contact of limestone and quartz-monzonite intrusive.
Deposit type: W skarn
Development: In 1942-1943, 12 tons of sorted tungsten ore was shipped, averaging 2.3% wo3.
Geology: See field notes of tingley, 8/8/80
