Paramount
Structure: Fault Contact Between Dolomite And Hornfels; Brecciation Of Dolomite
Commodity: Massive ore is lt greenish gray, fine-grained with smooth fracture; much ore is broken, fragmented
Deposit: Orebody in dolomite has fault for upper contact; irregular lower conctact. Tongues of talc extend perpendicularly into dolomite for several feet
Development: Krause mined underground in early 1940's in a flat stope accessible from a short adit. Mine was relatively inactive from 1943 to 1963. Since 1963, the stoped area has been converted to an open pit. Some development work was being done in mid-1970's
Rock formation(s): Wyman;Reed Dolomite
Ore(s): Fault Zones; Contact Of Dolomite And Hornfels
