A clay (montmorillonite) occurrence/prospect located in sec. 26, T21S, R44E, MDM, 3.7 km (2.3 miles) NE of Ballarat, along the western margin of the Panamint Range, between Surprise Canyon and Happy Canyon, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Surprise Canyon Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include unspecified surface openings/operations.
