Hack Canyon, Hack Canyon Mining District, Mohave County, Arizona, USAMillerite in selenite with marcasite, uraninite and small blebs of siegenite (2 mm) specimen size 38 mm x 25mm. Collected from the upper level stopes of the Hack Canyon No 3 mine in 1987 during the latter days of mine's operation. This was one of three breccia pipes (Hack 1, Hack 2 and Hack 3) mined at Hack Canyon for uranium in the 1980's. All mines have since been reclaimed. The old Hack Canyon Copper mine was in a seperate breccia pipe adjacent to the Hack 1 mine, the uranium values in this pipe were not high enough to be commercially mined. The Hack 2 and 3 mines were a mile up the canyon from the Hack 1 mine.
