Deposit: Cinnabar is localized in fractures in sandstone.
Geology: Host rock is locally fractured light-gray sandstone which strikes N 72 E and dips 87 s. Carboniferous formations dip S and are deformed by thrust faults, tear faults, bedding plane faults, and folds
