The Rosemont Gold Mine is 100 kilometres north of Laverton, 10 kilometres north-west of the Garden Well Mine and borders the west side of the Erilstoun Road.

The deposit was discovered in the 1980's, and a shallow oxide resource was mined in the early 1990's by Aurora Gold. There are three pits called Rosemont North, Main, and Rosemont South.

Regis Resources took over the mine in 2006. In 2013 it constructed a processing plant for ore from the mine, which is then piped as a slurry to the Garden Well Gold Mine processing plant.

The mine contained a 2015 JORC total resource of 28.3 Mt @1.33 g/t yielding 1.21 Koz.

Early 2014 and 2015, the area was hit by a once in a 150 year flood event, causing several pit walls to fail. Regis as a result was unable to access some of the higher grade ore it had predicted.

Gold mineralisation is contained in a quartz-dolerite unit which stretches from the North pit south to Baneygo.
