A former small underground Cu-Ag-Au mine located in the SE ¼ sec. 20, T.19S., R.25E, about ½ mile SW of Courtland, on private land. Owned by the Great Western Copper Co.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit with low grade, disseminated, cuperiferous-pyritic orebodies with some scattered high grade copper sulfides in metamorphosed Abrigo Limestone close to intrusive quartz monzonite porphyry.

Workings include a shaft(s). Several thousand tons of ore were produced from 1918 to 1925, and over 3,000 tons from 1954 to 1957.

Mineralization is spotty, oxidized copper and lead mineralization with gold and silver values (low-grade, some high-grade ore) in irregular quartz veins in intrusive quartz monzonite.

Workings include a few shallow shafts and tunnels. Sporadic, small ore production occurred in the early 1900's. ABGMT-USBM production for the Highland Mine is included under the Mame Mine.
