The village is situated in the beautiful countryside between two small mountains and several lakes, just 120 km away from the beach and the Bourgas International Airport (1,5-hour drive), 10 km away from the town of Elhovo and about 200 km away from the famous winter resort Pamporovo. Granitovo is located 25 km from the border with Turkey.
The Bulgarian Government is now investing huge amounts of money for infrastructure and modernizations, as in 1 year time a Customs-house and first class road to Istanbul and the Turkish Sea coast will be built in the area.
