A former underground Cu-Au-Ag-Pb mine. Discovered by Marshall and Ike Stoddard and Bob Bradley in 1897. Produced 1903-1957. Claims extend into the NE¼SW¼SW¼ of sec. 17.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with lens-shaped to irregular ore bodies. Ore control was stratigraphy. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Alteration was chloritization.

Area structures include foliation that trends N10W. Bedding trends N20W.

Workings include a 100 foot deep shaft plus several drifts and crosscuts (1881). A 5-stamp mill was erected.
