Small pale-yellow to pale-brown monazite crystals are locally abundant in pegmatites in the extreme northwestern corner of the county, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) southwest of Culloden. A euhedral monazite crystal 1 x 2 inches (2.5 x 5.0 em) is reported from the Adams property in this general vicinity.
