Local rocks include Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges) and/or Upper Cretaceous marine rocks, unit 1 (Upper Great Valley Sequence).
Workings include underground openings with considerable development work, including a 500 foot adit and 60 feet of drifts in 1908.
