A Sn occurrence/prospect located in the SW¼ sec. 4, T6S, R4W, SBM, 2.3 km (1.5 miles) ENE of Lake Elsinore (town) (S base of low hills; about ¼ mile W of the city dump). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is hosted in Late Cretaceous diorite and gabbro. Deeply weathered diorite and gabbro (San Marcos Gabbro) are cut by a sheared aplitic dike 5 feet wide, traceable for more than 100 yards, trending N65E. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks , unit 2 (Peninsular Ranges).
Workings include surface openings. Tin minerals were reportedly sought in several shallow pits along the SE edge of the dike.
