A stone (crushed/broken) & sand & gravel pit/quarry located in the S½ sec. 9, T8S, R1E, MDM, 5.0 km (3.1 miles) WSW of Edenvale, at the NW tip of the Santa Teresa Hills, on private land. Owned & operated by Leo F. Piazza Paving Company, San Jose, California (1981). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
