A former lode Au-Ag mine located in sec. 1, T2N, R16E and in sec. 36, T3N, R16E, MDM, 1.9 km (6,100 feet) ESE of Mi-Wuk Village (more than 1½ miles E of Sugar Pine), on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. This group includes the Green Consolidated, the Ryan claims, among other various lode and placer claims. The property was last worked around 1940. The work was done on the Green. Operations have been carried out irregularly since 1928.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body strikes N and dips 30E. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 400 foot deep shaft.
The only important production was recorded in 1940 when 1,700 tons of ore were produced.
