The Comet Bore Cu prospect is located about 30 kilometres north of Barrow Creek, near the north-west end of the Osborne Range.
Secondary copper mineralisation in quartz veins hosted by sheared amphibolite, within the Ooradidgee Group. It is near the contact with medium grained, and equigranular mica bearing leucogranites of the Ali Curang Granites.
