Goodman Arroyo
In Goodman Wash, below Goodman tank, a deposit of calcareous tufa several feet thick exists. The ground stands sufficiently well to permit the sinking of shafts without the use of timber. The gold is distributed throughout the wash, with the richest yield near the bedrock. Magnetite is always found in the concentrates, and boulders of magnetite, the largest weighing several pounds, are frequently found on the surface.
