A former small underground Ag-Mn mine located in the center of sec. 14, T.20S., R.22E, 1½ miles S of Tombstone, on private land. Operated by the Tombstone Development Co. (1941).
Mineralization is small, oxidized, argentiferous-manganese replacement orebodies in Pennsylvanian-Permian Naco Group Limestone along bedding plane slips cut by 'northeast' fissures. Located immediately north of the E-W-trending Prompter Fault. Beds dip 65-70S.
Workings include a shaft(s) with 8 levels, stopes were most extensive on the upper 4 levels. Workings totaled 106.68 meters long and 243.84 meters deep. A few hundred tons of ore were produced in the late 1800's.
