PhotosBarytolamprophyllite - Graulay, Hillesheim, Eifel, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

According to the description, it should rather be 'pyroxen' than 'pyrochlore' in the caption.

I agree with Meinrad

Since no analytical data are available it should not be barytolamprophyllite.

It is best to use Lamprophyllite-Group-Mineral for this.

It may be Lileyite, Schüllerite, Emmerichite or Barytolamprophyllite.

But barytolamprophyllite is extremely rare.

To Meinrad , in the caption I didn't use Pyrochlore because the brown needles are Pyroxen ,

To Guenter ,in all former publications { LAPIS } about Graulay is allways mentioned that this form shall be Barytolamprophyllite ,the change about this name is also suddenly changed for Loley too , it was published in LAPIS before as Barytolamprophyllite.

How can the more than average collecter follow all changes made in the last years after more defining of equipment for analyzing.

To Uwe , please inform me what to do ,

regards to all and the best wishes for 2017 in health and the hobby, Ko
