Yakacik Valley | Ager D. V. (1959) | The ammonites collected by the author were examined by Dr. M. K. Howarth of the British Museum (Natural History). He identified Coroniceras cf. C. rotiforme (J. de C. Sowerby) and Phylloceras alontinum (Gemmellaro), both indicative of the C. bucklandi zone, from the east side of the valley, and Eoderoceras cf. E. armatum (J. Sowerby), indicative of the raricostatum zone from the west side.
