I'd like to introduce myself; People call me by my family name, Schneider. I'm an amateur collector and photographer. In my daily life I go to trade school and I also have a service job, but plan on going into geology professionally in the future.

I started collecting in 2023, I got my first specimen right after new years, and a few people I know have said that I've been quite successful and extensive even though I just started. It does help that I have experience with CS, so researching has always been a useful tool in my belt, and it's definitely helped me gain a lot of knowledge about geology and the gem / mineral industry in the short time I've been interested in it.

As for what I collect, I specialize in apatite series and scheelite. I also collect synthetics, such as laser crystals, substrates, and synthetic minerals. (Scintillators, Oscillators, Q-Switch Crystals, Faraday Rotators, etc) I also collect cut stones but I'm not a fan of faceting or carving natural materials.

Feel free to message me if you want to talk about scheelite or any synthetic materials. I have a wide range of information on many different materials (IE: Properties and growth techniques of synthetic crystals) and I can also give tips about pricing / sourcing synthetics, since its rather obscure.
