Very well known locality for the wonderful cockscomb, or "pompons," baryte on sphalerite. Near the village of Montardier, it is a separate working but part of the complex mine, La mine des Malines. Many of the best pompons are labeled Les Cèdres (see reference).

"Les Cèdres" is a name used only by collectors. During the exploitation, this locality was named "Montardier" by the exploitation's technicians. The northern quarter was called "La Gardie".
