Wheal Rowe was a small copper mine on Lemellan Moor, which was started in 1820 by the land owner, a certain Mr. Rowe, and then became the subject of a legal case with the adventurers of East Crinnis Mine who claimed to be in the possession of the mineral rights. The working was subsequently absorbed by East Crinnis Mine.
