Pegmatite worked for one carload of feldspar by P.J Dwyer in 1925 and 1926. Consists mainly of graphic granite pegmatite.
The pegmatite as described by D.F Hewitt was said to be worked by an adit 8x8 feet was driven southward into a cliff for 15 feet then turned S60W to follow the dyke for another 15 feet. It is said to have contained mostly graphic granite and was not economically suitable.
There was also a pit opened in paragneiss, pyroxenite and hornblendite that was intersected by 4 inch wide veins of pyrrhotite, pyrite and rare chalcopyrite. The rocks themselves are intruded by granite pegmatite. The deposit was explored for copper but was also not of high grade.
A small pit, about 10 x 10 feet wide that was mined primarily for feldspar. Located on Concession VII, lot 11.
