Lower Devonian mica schists.

Note: precise GPS coordinates are unknown. At least some minerals to occur in the west part of the river gorge that cuts a mountain called Góra Chrobrego.

Three sub-localities (with staurolite) are reported:

- an old quarry beside railway tunnel and a weir

- a small outcrop, left riverbank

- within a tunnel beside a promenade, right riverbank

The staurolite crystals said to reach 10 x 25 mm in diameter.
