Bjørlykke locality nr 34.

It is at this point in time impossible to say which one of the two quarries close to the coordinates Andreas Corneliussen had published on his now-closed website (www.pegmatite.no) is the source of good samples of chrysoberyl.

The nr. 1 locality was the one closest to Corneliussen's coordinates.

The coordinates are for the farm.

Habit: Twins, trillings. Single crystal rare. The following forms is observed (Schetelig 1913): {001},{010},[110},{111},{121},{011},{021},{031}
Colour: yellowish green; greyish green on altered surfaces
Description: First find of chrysoberyls was made by Olaus Thortveit in 1909.
NB: There are two pegmatites bearing crysoberyl at Nateland. The chrysoberyl is found in microcline
