Agate quarry, Halsbach, Freiberg, Mittelsachsen, Saxony, Germany

Dimensions: 105 mm x 80 mm x 40 mm

Pale rose and white chalcedony. The specimen comes from the old Aachen University collection and was just labelled "Conradsdorf bei Freiberg in Sachsen". It shows the typical structure for Halsbach chalcedony (the so-called "Korallenstein"). Probably found in the mid 19th Century.
