A euhedral twinned cumengeite, 1cm in length. Self collected in mid 1990's. Please forgive the first attempts to post pictures on Mindat. Will replace in future.

This complete cumengeite sixling growing over boleite is 7.5mm. It was dug in the mid 1990's by my husband or myself. As with my cerussite photos from this locality, I will replace the photos as better ones are available.

I'll replace the photo when I get a better quality one. This is the reverse side of photo 221245. The black material inside is possibly manganese/?cryptomelane. There are also some green micro-crystals inside that are possibly paratacamite. Size as shown.

I will replace these photos when I get a better camera. For now I want to get them on Mindat because of their uniqueness among specimens known from the Boleo mining district--I'm not sure any other cerussites from there have been documented. These were self-collected around 1994. The specimen on the left measures 1.5cm by 1cm by 1cm high. The right twinned crystal is 2cm by 1.25cm by 0.8cm high.
